Microsoft Outlook Express
Setup |
- Double click on the Outlook Express icon.
- The first message will be a "Browse for Folder" window
where Outlook Express will keep your messages. Just click OK.
- Click on the "Inbox"
- The "Internet Connection Wizard" screen will
appear.
Select "Create a New Internet Mail Account" and click "Next"
- The "Your Name" screen will appear.
Type your real name
in the "Display Name box" and click "Next"
- The "Internet E-Mail Address" screen will appear.
Type
your email address in the "Email Address" box and Click "Next"
- The "E-Mail Server Names" screen will appear.
Select
"POP3" for "Incoming Mail Server Type" In the "Incoming Mail Server" box
type: pop.enia.net In the "Outgoing Mail Server" box type
smtp.enia.net Click "Next"
- The "Internet Mail Logon" screen will appear.
Select
"Log On Using:" Type your user name (i.e. your email address but without
@enia.net) in the "POP Account Name" box. Type your password in the
"Password" box. Click "Next"
- The "Friendly Name" screen will appear.
In the "Internet
Mail Account Name" box, change pop.enia.net to your login name followed
by "-EagleNet" Click "Next"
- The "Choose Connection Type" screen will appear
Select
"I will establish my Internet connection manually." Click "Next".
- The "Congratulations" screen will appear.
Click
"Finish"
Note: Outlook Express is capable of handling multiple email
accounts (handy where family members each have their own email address). To add
an account, select Accounts from the Tools menu. Then click on New. In the pop
up menu select Mail Account. Then follow steps 5-11 to set Outlook Express up
for an additional email address. |
